Atlantic Canada Nature SafarisAtlantic Canada Nature Safaris has been Peter established his business after a 20 year career in Rural and Urban Planning. When he exited from this profession, he was Planning Director with a District Planning Commission. An acedamic background in the field of Environmental Planning and two decades of working with small communities, the general public, and local government organizations might be considered an ideal background for the challenging and demanding tour business. Prior to establishing Atlantic Canada Nature Safaris, Peter worked as a part time sea kayaking guide and instructor and he is still active, as time permits, as an instructor and occasional guide. Interpretation of the natural world and cultural history is an important component of all tours. All of the tours, particularly the Scenic Nature and History Tours, unravel the story of our history from pre-European contact through our colonial history. Likewise, participants return home with a very good knowledge and understanding of the amazing natural world: flora, wildlife, and geology. Atlantic Canada Nature Safaris is a member in good standing of the following trade organizations:
